Let the Games Begin

It's official, Artletic has joined the Denver design scene. After 3+ years of working at Idaho Stew, I (Matt Crest) have left to start this great venture. I'd like to once again thank Stuart for teaching and guiding me over the years. Fortunately, we'll still be able to work on various projects together (just couldn't make a clean break).

New Web Site

Obviously related to the starting of this new company is the creation of a new website. It's been a quick turnaround, and I'm happy to say that Artletic.com is now live and open for business. And when I say 'live', I mean 'alive', as it will continue to change and grow over time.

Check out the About page to learn what Artletic does and means, or see some samples from the portfolio on the Work page. Any way you slice it, it's a great place to spend those extra few minutes you've been looking to get rid of.

Best Professional Portfolio

Just under a month ago, I attended the AIGA Colorado Peer to Peer Portfolio Expo in Denver. At the end of the evening, all participants voted for the best student and professional portfolios. I was fortunate enough to come away with the trophy* for Best Professional Portfolio (that has to be some sort of good luck for starting a new design business, right?).

*note – there is/was/will not be a trophy for this prize, just glory and fame beyond measure.
