Happy Holidays

Now that the snow has finally started to show up here in Denver and the finish line for 2008 is just days away, it’s even more obvious that its been a while since the last FieldNotes newsletter was sent out. Needless to say, Artletic has been extremely busy.

Before I get into what Artletic has been up to and what’s in store for 2009, I’d like to thank all of you for making this a great year. Whether client, vendor, family, or friend: thank you and I hope you have a great Holiday.

Now, on to the details.

Some Time Has Passed

Here’s a quick rundown of what has passed since the previous issue went out in May:

• 4 websites have been designed, developed, and launched
• Summer said “Hi”. It was hot.
• 64 projects of varying sizes and comlexity completed
• New studio space that provides collaboration and a change of scenery
• Fall showed up, and didn’t want to leave
• 3 new Client relationships have been established and are growing
• Winter arrived, after apparently hibernating from itself. But we’re glad it’s here.

Artletic Has Moved

Many of you know this already, but Artletic is now sharing studio space with friend and fellow designer Chris Arnold, of Limber Creative . We’re located on West Colfax between Simms and Youngfield. Our storefront space is in a strip mall, but it’s cool, we don’t have any nail salons or paycheck cashing joints for neighbors. Artletic and Limber Creative have collaborated on a few projects over the past year, and the hope is that we’ll be able to continue to do so – offering our existing and new Clients the benefit of an additional perspective.

Recently (and not so recently) Finished

Here's a sampling of completed projects:

• A boatload of marketing, sales collateral, and a website for Sirenuse Euro Bistro . This site features a content management system, integrated email marketing, 3 blogs, gift card sales, job application, employee intranet, and some nifty user experience on the menu page. This has been a grande project spanning many months, but Sirenusé is planning on opening any day now. So, if you happen to be in the area (The Woodlands, TX), be sure to check them out!
• Trade Show Booth and Sales Collateral for Allied Communications.
• Website, business papers, trade show booth, ads, and sales collateral for RigEye.
• Logo and business papers for Clover Road Properties. A new website is in the planning phases for Clover Road as well.
• Logo, website, and iPhone Web Application design and front-end development for Price.IS.

In the Works / Upcoming

Some of the active and/or upcoming projects we're excited about include:

• Website and for Clover Road Properties - a commercial developer working on some very exciting new projects.
• Sales Packet for Sirenusé Euro Bistro. We're working to put together a unique presentation piece to be given to people interested in holding a special event at the restaurant.
• Logo and website Think Design Build, a LEED certified new construction, addition, and remodel design build company.
• Website and an email marketing system for Allied Communication, a full-service telecommunication consulting firm that manages all aspects of its customers telecom needs.
